West Hills has operated a nursery school for more than 35 years. For the past ten years, Deborah Overbeck, program director, has overseen the program which includes separate 2, 3 and 4 year old classes. One of these classrooms was completely renovated last year, and the other is slated for renovations this summer. The fenced in playground and indoor playroom (Jones Hall) allow for ample room for children to practice being children. The academic program is quite rigorous, providing children with an excellent foundation for success in Kindergarten. Skill preparation includes word and letter recognition as well as early reading & math skills.  Additional enrichment programs include creative movements, gymnastics, lunch bunch and a summer program.
